Rodgers' performance in Week 17 at Detroit as the Packers won the NFC North title included 300 yards passing, four touchdowns and a 126.0 passer rating. He completed 27-of-39 throws as the Packers qualified for the playoffs for an eighth consecutive season and finished the regular season on a six-game winning streak.
Other nominees this week are Falcons QB Matt Ryan and Patriots QB Tom Brady, both of whom led their teams to victories that secured first-round byes in the playoffs.
