GREEN BAY -- Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Year for 2016.

The other nominees are Falcons QB Matt Ryan and Saints QB Drew Brees. The nominees for FedEx Ground Player of the Year are Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott, Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell and Cardinals RB David Johnson.
Rodgers was nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week five times during the regular season, winning on three occasions.
In 2016, Rodgers completed 410-of-601 passes for 4,428 yards with 40 touchdowns and seven interceptions for a 104.2 passer rating. His 40 TD passes led the NFL.
Rodgers' attempts and completions are both career highs, while his TD total ranks second in his career and his yardage total ranks third. Rodgers also set a career high in rushing yards with 369.
