GREEN BAY – Packers receiver Christian Watson has been nominated for NFL Rookie of Week 12 after catching four passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to NFL NextGenStats, Watson achieved a top speed of 20.97 miles per hour on the touchdown. That's the fastest max speed by a Packers ball carrier on a TD this season. His score also made Watson the first Packers rookie to register receiving TDs in three straight games since Billy Howton in 1952.
Watson previously won the award in Week 10 after his four receptions for 107 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-28 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys. Fourth-round pick Romeo Doubs also was named NFL Rookie of the Week 3 after catching three passes for 73 yards and a TD in Green Bay's 14-12 win over Tampa Bay on Sept. 25.
