VOTING ENDS DEC. 7; HONOREE ANNOUNCED DEC. 14
Voting is underway to select the 10th member of the Packers FAN Hall of Fame.
Last month, Packers fans were asked to nominate themselves or a friend for the honor with an essay of 500 words or less, accompanied by a photo, telling why they should be recognized. From those nominations, 10 finalists were selected by the Packers FAN Hall of Fame selection committee.
This year's 10 finalists are:
- Bill Riley, Santa Barbara, Calif.
- Micheal Moore, Marshfield, Wis.
- Mary Taylor, Port Washington, Wis.
- Wayne Scullino, Sydney, Australia.
- Jack Wilson, Macon, Ill.
- Kelly Orlando, Dallas, Texas.
- Pahl Young, Las Vega, Nev.
- Duane Wittmann, Oxford, Wis.
- Ike Eisenhauer, Wauwatosa, Wis.
- Earl & Rooty Leigh, Madison, Wis.
Now it's once again up to the fans who can read the finalists' profiles and vote online by **clicking here!**
The nominee receiving the most votes will be named the 10th member of the Packers FAN Hall of Fame.
Ballots also are available at sponsor retail outlets statewide: Mills Fleet Farm, ShopKo, Stein Gardens and Gifts, Best Buy, Lambeau Field Atrium and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel lobby
The voting deadline is midnight, Dec. 7, 2007. Voters will be entered into a random drawing to win a 2008 Road Trip to an away game with the Packers.
The honoree's selection will be announced Dec. 14, 2007. He or she will receive four club seats to the Packers' final home game, Dec. 30, at which he or she will be recognized on the Lambeau Field TundraVision video boards, a $500 Packers Pro Shop gift certificate and a road trip for two to a 2008 Packers away game, including game ticket, air fare and hotel accommodation.
The honoree also will be introduced during the Packers Hall of Fame Induction Banquet next July and have his or her name permanently displayed in a place of honor in the Packers Hall of Fame.
FAN Hall of Fame sponsors are ShopKo, Stein Gardens and Gifts, Best Buy and Mills Fleet Farm.
