MATTHEWS RECORDS TWO EARLY SACKS

In the first quarter against the Vikings, LB Clay Matthews sacked Minnesota QB Christian Ponder twice, once to set up a third-and-long that led to a punt, and another to stop a Vikings drive in the red zone to force a field goal. Matthews had his first two-sack game since the NFC Wild Card playoff vs. Minnesota last January, and the Packers went on to record six sacks of Ponder as a team.

LACY, JONES CONVERT FOURTH DOWNS*

During the Packers' fourth-quarter comeback, both RB Eddie Lacy and WR James Jones converted key fourth downs. Lacy's came on fourth-and-1 with less than 6 minutes left, when he appeared to be stopped in the backfield, but he powered through for a 4-yard gain, leading to a TD four plays later. On the Packers' next possession, QB Matt Flynn took advantage of a free play – the Vikings had jumped offside – and found Jones downfield on fourth-and-6 for a 28-yard gain with just over a minute left, setting up the game-tying field goal.

BOYKIN TOE-TAPS SIDELINE FOR 34-YARD GAIN IN OT*

On the opening possession of overtime, Flynn went deep down the left sideline for WR Jarrett Boykin, who made a leaping catch and tapped both feet in bounds at the Vikings' 7-yard line. The big catch set up the go-ahead field goal to make it 26-23, giving the Packers their first lead since the second quarter.
