PERRY'S STRIP-SACK, BURNETT'S RECOVERY PRODUCE TD
In the second quarter against the Lions with the score tied at 3, LB Nick Perry swatted the ball out of Detroit QB Matthew Stafford's hand as he wound up to throw. The fumble bounced toward the end zone and was picked up on the 1-yard line by S Morgan Burnett, who scored to give the Packers a 10-3 lead. It was the Packers' second defensive TD of the season.
WILLIAMS NABS HIS SECOND INT*
Without an interception through the first nine games of the season, CB Tramon Williams snagged his second pick in the last three games when he stepped in front of Stafford's quick throw on an out route to WR Kris Durham. The Packers then got an extra 15 yards of field position when Durham brought Williams down by grabbing him between the facemask and helmet.
SHIELDS TAKES TD AWAY FROM MEGATRON*
Matched for much of the day against Lions WR Calvin Johnson, aka "Megatron," CB Sam Shields got the best of him on a deep ball to the end zone in the third quarter. On a classic jump-ball throw from about 40 yards away, Shields maintained position and out-fought Johnson for an interception, keeping the Packers within 14 points at the time.
