SHIELDS INTERCEPTS DALTON

In the first quarter, CB Sam Shields undercut an out route by Bengals WR A.J. Green and intercepted QB Andy Dalton's pass near the sideline, the first of four straight turnovers for the Packers defense. The play set up a field goal for Green Bay and was the start of a strong day for Shields, who helped hold Green to just four receptions for 46 yards.

MATTHEWS STRIPS BALL, JENNINGS TAKES FUMBLE TO THE HOUSE

On third-and-1 early in the second quarter, Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis was grabbed from behind by LB Clay Matthews, stripping the ball. The fumble was recovered by S M.D. Jennings, who got up and raced 24 yards for a TD, cutting the Packers' deficit to 14-10.

FRANKLIN BREAKS OFF 51-YARD RUN

Filling in for the injured James Starks, rookie RB Johnathan Franklin took a third-quarter handoff and dodged tacklers on his way to a 51-yard run, setting up a Packers TD three plays later. Franklin had 13 carries for 103 yards plus three receptions for 23 yards in his first career action from scrimmage.
