FREE PLAY PRODUCES 26-YARD TD TO JONES

As he so often does, QB Aaron Rodgers took advantage of a free play when he got the Chiefs to jump offside. He fired a 26-yard TD pass to WR James Jones with 56 seconds left in the first half to give the Packers a 24-7 lead at intermission. It was Jones' fourth TD reception in three games this season.

SHIELDS GETS THE PICK, SETS UP TD

With Chiefs QB Alex Smith scrambling around in his own end zone, Packers CB Sam Shields stuck with his man and picked off Smith's floating pass at the Kansas City 19-yard line. Shields returned it 15 yards, down to the 4, and the Packers scored on the next play as Rodgers fired to WR Randall Cobb for a 31-7 lead in the third quarter.

RODGERS GETS FIVE, COBB GETS THREE

Rodgers and Cobb weren't done, as they connected for a third TD early in the fourth quarter on a 4-yard pass. The score was set up by a 52-yard completion to Jones off of another free play, putting Jones over 100 yards receiving on the night. The TD pass was Rodgers' fifth on the night, and Cobb became the first Packers WR with a three-TD game since Jones back in 2012.
