RODGERS TO RODGERS GETS PACKERS ON BOARD*

Scrambling around to buy time like he often does, QB Aaron Rodgers found his namesake, TE Richard Rodgers, free in the back of the end zone for a 9-yard TD pass to cap the opening drive of the game. It was the second Rodgers-to-Rodgers scoring connection this season.

SHIELDS SKIES HIGH FOR THE INTERCEPTION

Midway through the fourth quarter, 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick tried to go deep to WR Anquan Boldin, but Packers CB Sam Shields closed in a hurry and went airborne to haul in his second interception in as many games. It was the lone turnover of the game.

NEAL'S FOURTH-DOWN SACK MAKES IT A SIX-PACK

With just over four minutes left and the Packers leading 17-3, the 49ers faced fourth-and-5 from the Green Bay 15-yard line. Outside LB Mike Neal rushed untouched for a game-clinching sack of Kaepernick, the Packers' sixth sack of the game and their 13th in the last two games. The six-pack of sacks highlighted a defensive effort that saw the Packers allow just 196 yards of offense and eight first downs.
