ROLLINS OFF TO THE RACES
Late in the first quarter with the Packers leading 7-0, rookie CB Quinten Rollins snagged his first NFL interception and ran it all the way back, 45 yards for a TD for a 14-0 lead. Rollins would get his second INT later in the game, highlighting a big day for the second-round draft pick.
JONES WON'T BE DENIED
Early in the third quarter, WR James Jones caught a pass in stride on a crossing route and found a ton of open field. He dove for the goal line as he was being tackled and was initially ruled down on the 1-yard line, but a replay challenge gave Jones a 65-yard TD for a 21-10 Green Bay advantage. It was Jones' team-leading fifth TD reception on the season.
DEFLECTIONS DON'T DETER HA HA
With the Rams driving in the fourth quarter, QB Nick Foles' pass into the end zone was first deflected by LB Joe Thomas. Then the ball bounced off the helmet of TE Lance Kendricks before S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix made a diving interception in the end zone, preserving the Packers' two-score lead.
