Attraction Returns For Fourth Season; Features Exhibit, Drawing For Autographed Ball

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame's Featured Player of the Week program features an exhibit with memorabilia from each week's game, including a game ball autographed by the selected player.

The Hall of Fame Featured Player of the Week for Week 2 is veteran cornerback Charles Woodson who changed the pace of the game with two interceptions and a fumble recovery in the Green Bay Packers' 30-23 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Woodson's first interception was in the second quarter and halted a Panthers potential scoring drive. The second pick was a third-quarter theft that set up a Packers field goal. The latter marked his 49th career interception and his 32nd with the Packers. The two-INT performance was the sixth such outing of his career and his fifth with the Packers. Additionally, his third quarter fumble recovery set up a field goal as well.

Each week, the game football will be placed on display to be viewed by visitors to the Hall and at the end of the week will be awarded randomly to a Hall of Fame visitor who signed up for the drawing.

Also in the exhibit will be the featured player's jersey, as well as potentially other items such as a face mask, shoes, gloves and other equipment.

The exhibit opened Sept. 12 and will continue through the season. Hall of Fame admission is required to see the exhibit, and visitors are able to fill out a drawing form for a chance to win the ball. One drawing ticket will be distributed per each paid admission. Drawing winners will be selected at close of business Saturday and be notified on or before the following Monday.

The winners of game balls thus far have been Tom Cota of Gillett, Wis. (Week 1, Randall Cobb).

The featured player will be selected after each game and will be indicated in game coverage on the team's Web site, Packers.com. Packers.com also will feature a photo of the display at the beginning of each week.
