Oct. 6, 2013 - With 275 passing yards, QB Aaron Rodgers brought his season total to 1,331 passing yards. That is the most by a Green Bay QB in the first four games of the season, with Rodgers holding the previous mark (1,325 in 2011).

Oct. 6, 2013 - WR Randall Cobb's 67-yard run in the third quarter was the longest run by a Packer since RB Brandon Jackson's 71-yarder at Washington on Oct. 10, 2010. It was the longest by a Green Bay wide receiver since James Lofton's 83-yard TD run at the N.Y. Giants on Sept. 20, 1982.

Oct. 6, 2013 - LB Clay Matthews registered a 12-yard sack of QB Matthew Stafford in the third quarter. He has recorded six sacks in eight career games against the Lions.

Oct. 6, 2013 - K Mason Crosby tied the single-game franchise record with five field goals. Chris Jacke did so twice (at L.A. Raiders, Nov, 11, 1990; vs. San Francisco, Oct. 14, 1996) and Ryan Longwell did so once (at Arizona, Sept. 24, 2000).

Dec. 9, 2012 - QB Aaron Rodgers (12) runs for a touchdown as the snow falls on Lambeau Field. Safety Ricardo Silva (39) looks to close the gap but is too late. The Packers won, 27-20, with 70,382 in attendance.

Dec. 9. 2012 - Packers defenders Morgan Burnett (42), Brad Jones (59), Jerel Worthy (99) and Casey Hayward (29) swarm the ball as Lions RB Joique Bell (35) gets dropped for lost yardage.

Sept. 18, 1967 - RB Elijah Pitts (22) runs to daylight as Wayne Walker (55) of the Lions tries to make the tackle during the Packers season opener. Pitts was the high scorer with two touchdowns, but Green Bay settled for a 17-17 tie. WR Boyd Dowler (86) is pictured in the back left of the photo. The Packers went on to win Super Bowl II later that year.

Oct. 15, 1995 - QB Brett Favre (4) breaks away from Lions LB Chris Spielman (54) in the second quarter. The Packers won, 30-21, and advanced to the NFC Championship Game that January. There were 60,302 fans in attendance at Lambeau Field for the 45-degree October game.

Oct. 22, 1939 - Don Hutson (14) goes up for the ball during the Packers-Lions game. Hutson caught the ball for a 40-yard touchdown. The Packers won, 26-7, and went on to win the 1939 NFL Championship vs. the New York Giants later that year.

Dec. 9, 2012 - Defensive end Mike Daniels (76) picks up a fumble by Lions QB Matthew Stafford and runs it back 43 yards for a touchdown during the first half. The Packers won, 27-20.

Dec. 9, 2012 - Actor Will Ferrell made an appearance and helped get the crowd to sing "Roll Out The Barrel" during the second half of the game against the Lions in Green Bay.

Oct. 7, 1962 - Halfback Paul Hornung (5) looks for a lane to run as QB Bart Starr (15) and G Fuzzy Thurston (63) watch. Hornung helped set up the game-winning field goal in the final period of the of the 9-7 win. Behind Hornung is Wayne Walker (55). Center is Roger Brown (76) and right is Darris McCord (78).

Oct. 2, 1966 - QB Bart Starr (15) runs for a first down. Chasing him is DE Darris McCord (78) of the Lions. The Packers won, 23-14, swept the Lions in the series, and went on to win Super Bowl I against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nov. 3, 1996 - DE Reggie White pressures Lions quarterback Don Majowski (1). The Packers won, 28-18, and swept the Lions that year, and eventually went on to win Super Bowl XXXI against the New England Patriots.

Sept. 30, 1968 - Gale Gillingham (68) throws a diving block for RB Donny Anderson (44) as he is swept off his feet by Lions cornerback Lem Barney (21) and linebacker Bill Swain (51). The Lions came back after an early Packers lead to win, 23-17.

Jan. 1, 2012 - QB Matt Flynn (10) looks for an open receiver as the rush is on during the game. The Packers defeated the Lions, 45-41. The Packers have won 23 straight games against Detroit in Wisconsin, including a '94 playoff game. The streak spans eight Lions head coaches: Wayne Fontes (1992-96), Bobby Ross (1997-99), Gary Moeller (2000), Marty Mornhinweg (2001-02), Steve Mariucci (2003-04), Dick Jauron (2005), Rod Marinelli (2006-08) and Jim Schwartz (2009-13).

Oct. 15, 1985 - WR James Lofton steps out of bounds after hauling in a pass near the sidelines from QB Lynn Dickey. In a 50-degree game at Lambeau Field, the Packers went on to a 43-10 win.

Dec. 4, 1977 - Fighting a piercing 10-degree day at Lambeau Field, the muddied Packers notched a 10-9 victory over the Lions. QB David Whitehurst (17) led the Packers to their first win over the Lions that year.

Nov. 8, 1935 - Halfback Johnny "Blood" McNally (16) runs towards the line of scrimmage in the Packers-Lions third overall meeting. The Packers defeated the Lions, 31-7. No other NFL teams have played every year since 1932, when the Packers first met the Lions, then known as the Portsmouth (Ohio) Spartans. Including a pair of playoff clashes in the early 1990s, this week marks Game No. 171 in the all-time series.

Dec. 31, 1994 - Making the playoffs for the second straight year, the Packers hosted Detroit at Lambeau Field in the NFC Wild Card playoff. S Leroy Butler (36) and LB George Koonce (53) are seen here pursuing RB Barry Sanders (20), who was held to minus-1 yard on 13 attempts, on the way to a 16-12 win.

Dec 31, 1994 - This photo from the 1994 NFC Wild Card game at Lambeau Field pictures DE Reggie White (92) with a leaping rush towards QB Dave Krieg (17). The Packers won 16-12.

Nov. 20, 1983 - Packers TE Paul Coffman (82) and WR John Jefferson (83) celebrate a touchdown in Milwaukee County Stadium. The Packers ended up losing to the Lions 23-20 in overtime.
