Hired March 10, 2023, Kyle Wilber begins his second season as the special teams quality control coach for the Packers. Wilber entered the coaching ranks following a 10-year NFL playing career with the Dallas Cowboys (2012-17) and the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders (2018-21).
In 2023, Wilber helped tutor CB Keisean Nixon as he led the NFL in kickoff returns yards (782) and kickoff return average (26.1) on his way to earning first-team All-Pro honors from The Associated Press. Wilber also helped the Packers rank No. 9 in the NFL last season in opponent average starting field position after kickoffs (24.8), including a league-best 12 drives started inside the opponent's 20-yard line. Rookie K Anders Carlson connected on at least one field goal in all 17 games last season, the most ever by a rookie in league history (previous high was 15 games), and first-year P Daniel Whelan posted an average of 46.2 yards per punt in 2023, the second-best single-season mark in franchise history.

He appeared in 89 games with 16 starts during his six seasons (2012-17) with the Dallas Cowboys after being selected by the team in the fourth round (No. 113 overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Wilber spent the final four years of his playing career with the Raiders, appearing in 46 games with one start from 2018-21 as he contributed primarily on special teams under current Packers assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, including the 2020 season that saw Wilber post a team-high eight tackles on special teams.
Wilber attended Wake Forest University, where he appeared in 43 games with 36 starts in his four seasons (2008-11). He registered 195 tackles (117 solo), 35½ tackles for a loss, 13½ sacks, six QB pressures, six passes defensed, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries while adding four blocked kicks. Wilber finished his career ranked No. 6 in school history in sacks and No. 8 in tackles for a loss. He earned third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference recognition from The NFL Draft Report as a senior in 2011 after finishing second on the team with a career-high 70 tackles (48 solo) and took home third-team All-ACC honors from Phil Steele's College Football as a junior in 2010 after leading the Demon Deacons with a career-high six sacks and a career-best 14½ tackles for a loss.
