Biography
Sean Linton enters his sixth season with the Packers and third as a college scout covering the West region after being named to the position on July 22, 2022. Linton previously spent two seasons as a scouting assistant (2020-2021). He originally joined the Packers in 2019 as a training-camp scouting intern and returned to Green Bay as a full-season scouting intern in 2020 before being promoted in the middle of the season to scouting assistant.
Prior to joining the Packers, Linton spent four years (2015-19) working for Dexcom in San Diego, Calif., as a medical
sales representative.
Linton played both wide receiver and cornerback at San Jose State (2011-2014). He was named to the Academic All-Mountain West team in 2013 and was part of a 2012 team that won the Military Bowl after an 11-2 season.
Linton graduated from San Jose State in 2015 with a degree in communication studies.
Linton played wide receiver at Helix High School in La Mesa, Calif. He was a 2009 second-team All-Grossmont League South pick and was named to the AIGA All-Star team and San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team in 2009. He also received All-East County honorable mention as a junior.
Born in Rochester, N.Y., Linton resides in Phoenix, Ariz., with his fiancee, Rose.
