The Green Bay Packers signed TE Johnny Lumpkin to the practice squad on Sept. 10, 2024.
Lumpkin (6-5, 264), a first-year player out of the University of Louisiana, was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. He was released after training camp and spent parts of the rookie season on the practice squads of the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. Lumpkin played in 35 games during his college career, recording 36 receptions for 408 yards (11.3 avg.) and six touchdowns.
