Warren Brinson

The Packers added a third defensive lineman in as many picks Saturday, this one on the interior with the selection of Georgia's Warren Brinson in the sixth round at No. 198 overall.

Brinson (6-5, 315) played five seasons for the Bulldogs, becoming a part-time starter the last two years. He began emerging in 2022, getting credited with 14 QB hits for Georgia's national championship defense.

In starting eight of 25 games over the last two seasons, he recorded four sacks as an inside rusher among nine tackles for loss. He had one of those sacks and 2½ TFLs in the SEC championship victory over Texas.

At the scouting combine, the Georgia native was clocked in 5.09 seconds in the 40-yard dash and recorded a 31-inch vertical jump.
