GREEN BAY – One round after drafting a big defensive lineman for the middle of their defense, the Packers added an inside linebacker as well.
Green Bay chose Boston College's Isaiah McDuffie with its second sixth-round pick on Saturday, No. 220 overall.
McDuffie (6-1, 224) led his team last season with 107 tackles, a total that ranked fifth in the country. He broke into the Eagles' starting lineup in 2018, when he finished second on the team with 85 tackles, but then missed all but four games in 2019 due to injury.
In 2020, he was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference and recorded a career-high 16 tackles in a big showdown with second-ranked Notre Dame.
He posted 15½ tackles for loss, 8½ sacks and one interception in his college career.
