The Green Bay Packers and Delaware North are inviting nonprofit organizations to spend Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field, with special opportunities available to volunteer at the Packers-Dolphins game.
Delaware North is seeking several additional nonprofit groups to enhance their roster of organizations involved in their concessions fundraising program. The program allows volunteers the chance to work in Lambeau Field concession stands and keep a portion of the proceeds for their charity organization, plus 100 percent of their tips.
With the Nov. 28 game taking place on Thanksgiving night, volunteers can celebrate the holiday at home before arriving at the stadium at 2:20 p.m. for a 7:20 p.m. kickoff.
As the holiday season approaches, many charities are seeking additional ways to raise funds, and volunteering at Lambeau Field provides a fun opportunity to bring together a group of friends and family to spend Thanksgiving at the stadium while raising money to support their organization.
Volunteer groups of any size are welcome and training at the beginning of the shift will be provided.
Opportunities are limited, so interested volunteer groups should secure their spot as soon as possible by contacting Delaware North at greenbaynpo@delawarenorth.com or at 920-965-3737.
More than 90 schools, social service agencies and community organizations volunteer at Lambeau Field during each game through the Green Bay Sportservice nonprofit concessions program, raising an average of $140,000 for charitable causes per home game. Since 2012, groups have raised more than $11 million for causes throughout Wisconsin.
