Lambeau Field is set to welcome fans for Thanksgiving night's Packers-Dolphins game, kicking off at 7:20 p.m.
This week, dozens of Packers players and coaches will join their counterparts across the NFL in wearing customized cleats to raise awareness for their hand-picked causes as part of the 'My Cause My Cleats' initiative. This player-led campaign allows players to wear cleats to draw attention to a variety of nonprofit organizations and show their support for these causes.
Thursday's festive atmosphere will also be highlighted by a halftime performance by chart-topping violinist Lindsey Stirling, whose talents as a dancer will be on display, along with her dazzling, genre-bending virtuosity on electronic violin. Special lighting will be used during the performance, with the stadium lights going off and spotlights being utilized, so fans are asked to be aware while they are moving around the stadium.
The special lighting elements will also be employed during player introductions, with flickering lights and spotlights to enhance the festivities. The stadium lights will be completely turned off to direct fan attention to the TundraVision video boards while the pre-intro video plays. Fans are advised to arrive early and be in their seats by 7 p.m. so they can enjoy the player introductions and light features.
Game attendees should ensure they have the latest version of the Packers app downloaded to their mobile devices and that their tickets are saved in their device's mobile wallet, if possible, to facilitate smooth entry into the stadium. Additionally, fans are reminded that Lambeau Field and all its businesses are cashless, including parking. Concession stands and other terminals around the stadium feature tap-to-pay technology, allowing fans to pay up to four times faster than before. Those who do not have credit/debit cards or contactless payment solutions may use a cash-to-card conversion station located in the Atrium.
Fans can celebrate Thanksgiving with special gameday holiday concession items. Concession stands 124-O and 326 Marketplace, as well as the Miller Lite Deck and Festival Foods MVP Deck, are serving a shaved turkey sandwich, topped with house-made stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry aioli and crispy onions on sourdough bread. Pumpkin spiced donuts will also be served at the Melotte Marketplace and 678 (Sweet Spot) on the club level. Game attendees can also enjoy efficient grab-and-go concessions and market-style stands in the upper and lower concourses. Fans can visit two levels of the Miller Lite End Zone on the north side of the stadium, which includes the grab-and-go Miller Lite Market and the Miller Lite End Zone Bar, a climate-controlled bar space.
Packers Perks members attending Thursday's game are invited to visit the Packers Perks Donut House in the Lambeau Field Atrium to receive a free Kwik Trip Glazer donut while supplies last. Starting two hours prior to kickoff on home gamedays, Packers Perks members can use the tablets at the Donut House kiosk to input their email; when the machine recognizes the fan's email is associated with a Packers Perks account, a donut will be dispensed. Fans can sign up for the program and earn points at packersperks.com
Fireworks will be set off from the stadium roof one hour prior to kickoff to remind fans to head toward the stadium to be inside by kickoff. Fans entering all gates will receive a leather can koozie, compliments of Miller Lite.
During pregame, the Seymour Thunder and the Freedom Irish will compete in the High School Quarterback Challenge, presented by HPE and Camera Corner. Prior to the national anthem, the Packers will be recognizing U.S. Army veteran Jim Murphy through Operation Fan Mail presented by Network Health on the field. Singer and songwriter Jessie G will perform the national anthem, with Gideon Klein on cello and Josee Klein on violin.
Fans are reminded of the stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12." All fans entering Lambeau Field on gamedays will use walk-through metal detectors. The Atrium will be open to ticket holders at 1:20 p.m. via the American Family Insurance Gate and fans may exit and re-enter up until 3:20 p.m. by having their ticket 'exit scanned' at the same gate. The Lambeau Field parking lots will open Thursday at 3:20 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 5:20 p.m. Guests with specials needs should note that wheelchair assistance is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with mobility challenges are encouraged to use their own wheelchairs.
Fans can visit the Johnsonville Tailgate Village on the stadium's east side parking lot. The space hosts ticketed and non-ticketed guests from 3:20 p.m. until one hour after the game ends. It will feature live music from the band Fire on High as well as food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere. For more gameday information, visit packers.com/lambeau-field/gameday-information.
