Martin, Franks to be featured alumni this week

Former players at Lambeau Field Atrium on Saturday and at locations around Lambeau Field on Sunday

The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni David Martin and Bubba Franks for the Packers-Bills game on Sunday, Sept. 30.

Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans at the Lambeau Field Atrium on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to noon.

Martin will be visiting with fans and signing autographs at surprise locations around Lambeau Field on gameday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Franks will be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'

Selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL Draft, David Martin played six seasons for the Packers from 2001-06. An athletic tight end, the University of Tennessee product was named the Packers' "Offensive Rookie of the Year" in recognition of his performance in 2001. He went on to play in 70 games during his Packers career, with 87 receptions and nine touchdowns.

A first-round selection by the Green Bay Packers in the 2000 NFL Draft, Bubba Franks played eight seasons in Green Bay (2000-2007), recording more than 250 receptions, 2,300 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns. Known for his reliable blocking and being a big target over the middle, Franks was a mainstay in the Packers lineup throughout his time with the team, and was the third tight end in Packers history to earn three Pro Bowl selections (2001-03).
