Packers activate RB Aaron Jones

The Green Bay Packers have released CB Deante Burton. The transaction was announced Wednesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Additionally, RB Aaron Jones was activated from exempt status.

Burton was claimed off waivers by the Packers from the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 11 and was inactive for last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
