The Green Bay Packers have re-signed K Brandon McManus. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Wednesday.
McManus (6-3, 201), a 12th-year player out of Temple, signed with the Packers as a free agent on Oct. 16, 2024, and appeared in 11 games for Green Bay last season. He ranked No. 2 in the NFL in field-goal percentage (95.2, 20 of 21), the second-best single-season mark in team history (min. one attempt per game) and the top mark among Green Bay kickers with 20-plus attempts in a season. McManus was tied for No. 1 in the league in extra-point percentage (100.0, 30 of 30) and became the first kicker in NFL history to make a game-winning FG as time expired in both of his first two games with a team (45-yarder vs. Houston in Week 7, 24-yarder at Jacksonville in Week 8).
McManus entered the NFL in 2013 with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. He spent time with the N.Y. Giants in 2014 before being traded to the Denver Broncos in August 2014. McManus played nine seasons in Denver (2014-22) and one with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2023). He ranks No. 3 in the NFL in field goals (273), points scored (1,161), field goals of 50-plus yards (48) and extra-point percentage (97.4, 342 of 351) since 2014.
