The Green Bay Packers have activated P Corey Bojorquez (buh-HOR-kez), G Ben Braden, LB Oren Burks, TE Tyler Davis, TE Marcedes Lewis and LB Ty Summers (reverts to injured reserve) off the reserve/COVID-19 list, restored DL R.J. McIntosh to the practice squad off the practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list, elevated DL Abdullah Anderson from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday as a COVID-19 replacement, elevated WR David Moore from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday, signed K Elliott Fry to the practice squad and released LB Aaron Adeoye (uh-DAY-oh-yay) from the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Saturday.
Fry (6-0, 172) is a first-year player out of the University of South Carolina that originally signed with the Chicago Bears in 2019 as an undrafted free agent. He has also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. Fry appeared in one game for the Falcons in 2020, connecting on his only field goal attempt as well as one of two extra points, and played for the Chiefs in Week 16 this season, making three of four field goals and three of four extra points. He will wear No. 9 for the Packers.
