The Green Bay Packers have signed DL Jonathan Ford to the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Friday.
Ford (6-5, 338), originally selected by the Packers in the seventh round (No. 234 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami (Fla.), has been on Green Bay's active roster and practice squad since being drafted. He was on injured reserve/designated for return this year before being activated on Oct. 21. Ford appeared in 50 games with 30 starts in five seasons with the Hurricanes (2017-21), recording 60 tackles (21 solo), eight tackles for a loss, three sacks, a pass defensed and a forced fumble.
