Green Bay Packers DL Rashan Gary, RB Josh Jacobs and S Xavier McKinney (starter) have been named to the Pro Bowl roster, the league announced today.
This is the first Pro Bowl selection for Gary, who moved into No. 8 on the Packers' all-time sack list (since 1982) this season (38.0). It is the sixth consecutive year (2019-24) the Packers have had a defensive player make the Pro Bowl. Gary leads the Packers this year in sacks (6.5), QB hits (14) and NextGenStats QB pressures (49). He has posted an NGS pressure in every game this season and multiple pressures in all but one game. Gary is No. 4 on the team with eight tackles for a loss.
Jacobs earned his third Pro Bowl selection (2020, 2022) and first as a member of the Packers. He is the fourth Green Bay running back to make a Pro Bowl in last 25 years (2000-24), joining Ahman Green (2001-04), Eddie Lacy (2013) and Aaron Jones (2020). Jacobs ranks No. 5 in the NFL with 1,285 rushing yards this season. It is the most rushing yards by a player in their first season with the Packers. He became just the fifth player in team history to clear the 1,200-yard rushing mark (Green, 2001-03; Ryan Grant, 2008-09; Jim Taylor, 1961-62; Dorsey Levens, 1997). Jacobs is tied for No. 2 in the NFL this season with 14 rushing TDs, surpassing his single-season career high of 12 set in 2020 and 2022. Overall, he has 15 TDs this season, the most by a Packer in his first season with the team (Green, 13 in 2000; WR Billy Howton, 13 in 1952).
McKinney earned the first Pro Bowl selection of his career in his first season with Green Bay. He is the first Packers safety to make the Pro Bowl since Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in 2016. McKinney ranks No. 2 in the NFL this season in both interceptions (seven) and takeaways (eight). He recorded the most interceptions since Charles Woodson in 2011 (seven). McKinney's seven games with an INT this season (No. 2 in the NFL) are the most by a Packer since Woodson recorded seven games with an INT in 2009. McKinney became the first player in team history to register an INT in each of his first five games in a Green Bay uniform.
G Elgton Jenkins was named first alternate.
Other alternates include CB Jaire Alexander, DL Kenny Clark, TE Tucker Kraft, QB Jordan Love, C Josh Myers and CB Keisean Nixon (kick return specialist).
