The Green Bay Packers, in partnership with Bellin Health, are offering Packers 5K participants the opportunity to win a number of prizes at this year's event.
The ninth annual '5K Run/Walk at Lambeau Field,' is set for Saturday, July 21, at 8 a.m.
All 5K participants will receive a Packers 5K Run T-shirt, a logoed bag, and a bib number and timing chip. In addition, photos will be taken on the course and will be available at no cost on the Packers 5K Run website.
Packers-themed awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group for the 5K Run. An awards ceremony will take place following the conclusion of the race.
All participants that cross the finish line and register by Wednesday, July 18, will automatically qualify for a chance to win a variety of Packers prizes. Participants will be selected as winners for a variety of prizes, including:
- Tickets to a 2018 Packers preseason home game accompanied by two pre-game VIP Sideline passes
- Tickets to a regular season home game
- $100 Packers Pro Shop gift card
- Authentic autographed merchandise
- $100 1919 Kitchen & Tap gift card
Registration, which is $35 for adults and $25 for children (12 and younger), is currently available online at www.packers.com/5k. Mail-in registration is also an option, with forms available online and in person at Lambeau Field. Early registration is encouraged.
The Packers are partnering with local charities to raise money through the event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross, Volunteer Center of Green Bay, Big Brothers Big Sisters and DarJune Foundation.
