GREEN BAY – For the third time in this draft, the Packers built depth on their offensive line.
They used their third of four seventh-round selections to draft Penn State tackle Rasheed Walker with the No. 249 overall pick.
Walker (6-6, 313) started 32 games at left tackle over the last three years for the Nittany Lions, earning third-team All-Big Ten honors from the media each of the last two seasons. He received honorable mention both years from the league's coaches.
He was voted a team captain this past season. A Maryland native, Walker was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in high school, where he was a three-time team captain.
