The Packers are preparing for several thousand Green Bay Packers Shareholders and guests who have requested tickets for the organization's Annual Meeting, set for Wednesday, July 25, at 7 p.m. at Lambeau Field, the first evening meeting held in Lambeau Field.
The event will be held rain or shine. The Lambeau Field Atrium is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with 1919 Kitchen & Tap, the Packers Pro Shop, and the Packers Hall of Fame, which will be open for normal business hours. The Atrium will close at 2, and will be open only to Shareholders and ticketed guests from 3 to 10 p.m. Stadium gates will open at 5 p.m.
Shareholders are reminded that due to the Packers Experience 100 Seasons event in the Lambeau Field parking lots, limited parking is available in Lots 1, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14 and 16. Parking lots open at 8 a.m.
Limited ADA parking is available as well. Shareholders parking on neighborhood streets are reminded to follow the posted signs and normal regulations. Neighboring residents and businesses may be offering parking as well.
This year, in honor of 100 Seasons of Packers football, a special DC-3 flyover will take place at the start of the meeting. The Packers became the first NFL team to fly to a road game when they flew two DC-3s to New York for a game against the Giants in 1940.
Also new this year, Shareholders are reminded that seating for the meeting will be on the west side of the stadium, and the Kwik Trip, Fleet Farm, Oneida Nation and American Family Insurance Gates will be available for entry to the meeting. Persons needing wheelchair positions will be located in wheelchair seating areas on the west side of the stadium. Shareholders that require the use of a wheelchair are asked to bring their own, and those who have special needs or need special assistance are asked to enter through the Associated Bank Gate.
Before the meeting, Shareholders are encouraged to visit the Shareholder Services desk in the Atrium to update their contact information, if it has changed.
Shareholders are also invited to take part in the Packers Experience, a four-day, free festival in honor of the Packers' 100 Seasons that begins Thursday, July 26, in conjunction with the first day of Packers Training Camp. The festivities include four different zones throughout the Lambeau Field campus, with interactive football games, skills challenges and activities for all ages, a replica Packers team locker room, live music, food and beverages and much more.
