Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy today teamed up with the American Cancer Society and joined CEOs around the country for the one-day Fit2Be Cancer Free CEOs Challenge.

Aimed at recognizing that the business sector is uniquely positioned to lead the fight against cancer, the event challenges business leaders to track their steps at work on April 18 and inspire their colleagues and community to get active in the fight against cancer.

"I'm proud to once again join the Fit2Be Cancer Free CEOs Challenge and demonstrate the Packers' commitment to ending cancer and supporting those who have faced the disease," said Murphy. "I appreciate the opportunity to remind our fans how important it is to take care of your long-term mental and physical health by exercising, staying active and getting screened for cancer as soon as it is recommended."

Murphy is one of more than 500 members of the American Cancer Society's CEOs Against Cancer program, representing a powerful network of prominent business leaders who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to prevent, treat and cure cancer.

In recent years, Murphy and the Packers have enhanced the team's efforts to fight cancer through the Packers Vs. Cancer initiative, which raises awareness of all cancers, raises funds for research and cancer care and reminds fans that early screenings save lives. For more information about Packers Vs.
