GREEN BAY – Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week after throwing for 341 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 45-30 win over the Chicago Bears.
Fans are encouraged to vote for Rodgers here, on Twitter via the @NFL published polls and on the NFL Mobile App. Voting is open through 2 p.m. CT this Wednesday.
Sunday night marked the seventh time in his career Rodgers had four or more touchdowns with no interceptions against Chicago, the most in NFL history against a single opponent.
Rodgers, who completed 23-of-33 passes, led four straight touchdown drives to finish the game. His 148.2 passer rating in the 34-31 loss to the Vikings was his highest of the season.
He also extended his NFL-record streak to 10 straight divisional games with multiple TD passes and no INTs. In those 10 games, he has completed 234 of 321 passes (72.9 pct.) for 2,812 yards and 34 TDs with no INTs for a 134.6 rating.
It's the third time Rodgers has been nominated for the weekly award (Week 7, vs. Washington, Week 11 at Minnesota).
The other nominees include Tampa Bay's Tom Brady (31-of-46 for 363 yards and two touchdowns) and the Los Angeles Chargers' Justin Herbert (23-of-31 for 275 yards and three TDs).
