The Green Bay Packers signed DL Brian Price to the practice squad, restored RB Dexter Williams to the practice squad from injured reserve–practice squad, released T Ryan Pope from the practice squad and placed DL Delontae Scott on injured reserve–practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Price (6-3, 322) is a third-year player out of the University of Texas-San Antonio. He joins the Packers for the second time after originally signing with Green Bay as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2016. Price spent time on the Packers' practice squad and active roster in 2016-17, appearing in one game in '16. Over his career, he has also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns. In all, Price has played in 22 games, recording 20 tackles (11 solo), a pass defensed and a tackle for a loss. He will wear No. 78 for the Packers.
