The Green Bay Packers have signed DL Kenny Clark to a contract extension. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Sunday.

Clark, originally selected by the Packers in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft (No. 27 overall) out of UCLA, has recorded 34 sacks so far in his career to pass DE Vonnie Holiday and LB Nick

Perry (32) for No. 10 and LB Bryce Paup (32½) for No. 9 on Green Bay's all-time list (since 1982). From 2017-23, his 34 sacks ranked No. 2 on the team in sacks (LB Preston Smith, 41½) and his seven forced fumbles led the Packers. Clark's five career postseason sacks rank No. 4 in team history (since 1982) and No. 6 in the NFL from 2019-23. He has led or tied for the lead on the defensive line in tackles in seven of his eight years with the Packers.

Clark produced the third Pro Bowl season of his career in 2023, highlighted by a career-best 7½ sacks (No. 3 on the team), a team-high nine tackles for a loss, three passes defensed (tied career

high, 2018), 16 QB hits (No. 3 on the team) and 50 NextGenStat QB pressures (No. 2 on the team). He joined Henry Jordan (1960-61, 1963, 1966) as the only Packers defensive tackles to make three-plus Pro Bowls.

Overall, Clark has played in 123 regular-season games with 109 starts and registered 460 tackles (255 solo), seven forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and nine passes defensed. He has also started seven of the 10 postseason contests he has played in, recording 40 tackles (24 solo), six tackles for a loss, 10 QB hits and five sacks.
