The Green Bay Packers signed G Nico Siragusa to the active roster from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad and placed T/G Byron Bell on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Wednesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Siragusa (6-4, 320) was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens out of San Diego State in the fourth round (No. 122 overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in training camp. Siragusa has been on the Ravens' practice squad for all of this season. He played in 54 games with 42 starts in college and was named a first-team All-American by USA Today and third-team All-American by The Associated Press as a senior. Siragusa will wear No. 56 for the Packers.
