The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Damon Hazelton and released CB Dominique Martin. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Friday.
Hazelton is a 6-foot-3, 206-pound rookie out of the University of Missouri that originally signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021, but was released on Aug. 11. He played one season (2020) as a graduate transfer at Missouri after spending the prior three seasons at Virginia Tech (2017-19) and his freshman year at Ball State (2016). Hazelton totaled 163 receptions for 2,231 yards (13.7 avg.) and 21 touchdowns in his collegiate career. He was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2018 and honorable mention All-ACC in 2019. Hazelton will wear No. 6 for the Packers.
