For the first year, the Green Bay Packers are teaming up with Jack Link's Protein Snacks by participating in the NFL's Madden Club Championship this season, marking the team's first foray into e-gaming.
The Packers and Jack Link's Protein Snacks are inviting fans to be a part of the fun by playing, watching and cheering on the finalists in the tournament.
By registering for the tournament, Packers fans and Madden players have the chance to play their way into representing the Packers in the Madden Championship Series, which has been newly formatted for players with a $1.4 million prize pool, the largest prize pool ever for Madden NFL.
Registration is open now, and fans and gamers can register through Sept. 28 to be part of the elimination tournament. All ages and skill levels are welcome to compete for a chance to represent their favorite NFL team in the Club Championship. To register, visit maddenchampionship.com/compete.
Those who advance through the elimination tournament can be a part of the Madden NFL 21 Club Championship (Nov. 10 through Feb. 5), in which competitive players will battle over the course of eight weeks to represent each of the 32 NFL teams. All matches will be played remotely with players joining from home, and the action will be a part of Madden NFL's Tuesday evening broadcasts on Madden NFL Twitch and YouTube lineup starting in October. Madden NFL will continue to announce additional tournament details throughout the year, revealing new formats and twists.
Gamers can participate using XB1 or PS4 game consoles. The Club Championship is played in Ultimate Team Mode where gamers assemble their own fantasy team of all-stars, so the teams in competition don't reflect an actual roster. By registering to play in the tournament, gamers are eligible to be make it to the finals and compete for a combination of MCS points, cash and the coveted Madden Club Championship belt.
