GREEN BAY – Packers WR Jayden Reed has been nominated for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week following Friday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil.
Fans are encouraged to vote for Reed here.
The 24-year-old receiver recorded 171 scrimmage yards (138 receiving, 33 rushing) and two touchdowns (one receiving, one rushing) during the 34-29 loss to the Eagles.
Both of Reed's scores came in the second quarter and both were career longs for the young wideout: a 33-yard rushing TD and a 70-yard receiving TD. According to Elias, Reed is the first Packers player to have a 70-plus TD catch and 30-plus TD run in the same game since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger. He's the fifth player overall to achieve the feat and the first since Ezekiel Elliott in 2016.
Other nominees for the award included Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins and Houston running back Joe Mixon.
