With the NFL regular season kicking off this week, the Green Bay Packers relaunched the free online game 'Packers Predict,' powered by Cenex®, on packers.com and the Packers mobile app.
Packers Predict is an interactive online game offered in conjunction with each Packers game that allows fans to predict various gameday outcomes, with several weekly questions. Questions focus on the upcoming game – for example, how many total passing yards will the Packers have against their opponent.
Each week during the regular season, the three highest scoring players will win weekly prizes, including cash, gift cards and autographed items.
Players will play for weekly prizes by starting each week with zero points, but week-by-week totals will be tallied and tracked on a leader board. The cumulative highest scorer from the regular season will win a grand prize at the end of the Packers season: $2,000 cash and a VIP gameday experience for the 2023 season, including a hotel stay.
Cash prizes will also be awarded to the top points earner in two different phases: $1,000 will be awarded to the winner of the first nine weeks of the regular season, and $1,000 will be awarded to the winner of the last nine weeks of the regular season.
The program will run weekly during the regular season, with two rounds of questions per week: one round of questions prior to the game and one round during halftime of each game.
The pregame round opens for play at 9 a.m. three days before kickoff each week and closes five minutes before each week's kickoff. The halftime round opens at the end of the second quarter and closes at the start of the third quarter. Players can make their predictions at any point during each time window and weekly point totals are tallied based on players' performances in both rounds. Point totals for each question will be updated in real time depending on incoming predictions from other Packers fans.
The game launched today, on the Packers' digital platforms, with this week's game now open for play. To register, fans can visit packers.com/predict or navigate to the menu on the Packers mobile app and tap on "Packers Predict."
Players must register using a cell phone in order to receive the SMS code to complete the registration process. Players must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to play.
