The Green Bay Packers and Live Nation today announced that tickets are sold out for the Paul McCartney concert on June 8 at Lambeau Field, making the event the fastest non-football sellout in Lambeau Field history.
The performance, part of his Freshen Up U.S. Tour 2019, will be McCartney's first-ever concert in Green Bay. Tickets went on sale to the general public on Monday, Dec. 10.
The Freshen Up tour is McCartney's first outing following the release of his No. 1 charting album, Egypt Station, released Sept. 7 on Capitol Records to stellar reviews: Rolling Stone raved, "Macca keeps adding new gems to his songbook, with nothing to prove except he's the only genius who can do this… And, oh yeah — in his spare time, he happens to still be the greatest live performer on Earth," while Entertainment Weekly described the album as "the still-vital life force of a superstar who has been there and everywhere and is glad just to be here now."
