Cornelius Johnson

The Green Bay Packers signed WR Cornelius Johnson to the practice squad on Sept. 18, 2024.

Johnson (6-3, 212), a rookie out of the University of Michigan, originally was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round (No. 253 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He was released after training camp and spent a short time on the Chargers' practice squad. Johnson played in 61 games with 44 starts for the Wolverines from 2019-23, recording 138 receptions for 2,038 yards (14.8 avg.) and 14 TDs. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mention from the coaches in 2023 after posting a career-best 47 receptions for 604 yards (12.9 avg.) and a TD.
