Biography
- Has earned three trips to the Pro Bowl (2019, 2021, 2023), joining Henry Jordan (1960-61, 1963, 1966) as the only Packers defensive tackles to make three-plus Pro Bowls.
- With 34 career sacks, passed DE Vonnie Holiday and LB Nick Perry (32) for No. 10 and LB Bryce Paup (32½) for No. 9 on Green Bay's all-time list (since 1982). Trails LB Tony Bennett (36) for the No. 8 spot on the list.
- Has five career postseason sacks, No. 4 in team history (since 1982) and No. 6 in the NFL from 2019-23.

2023 SEASON: Started all 17 regular-season games and was named to his third career Pro Bowl after recording 44 tackles (22 solo), a career-best 7½ sacks (No. 3 on the team), a team-high nine tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, three passes defensed (tied career high, 2018) and 16 QB hits (No. 3 on the team)...Finished No. 2 on the team with 50 NextGenStat QB pressures...Registered at least a half-sack in seven games on the season...Recorded at least a half-sack in the first three games of the season for the first time in his career...It was only the second time in his career he has posted at least a half-sack in three straight games (2019, Games 13-15)...Started both postseason contests, recording seven tackles (four solo), a half-sack and a tackle for a loss and tied for No. 2 on the team with two QB hits...At Chicago (Sept. 10): Registered two tackles (both assists), two QB hits and a half-sack when he teamed with DL Devonte Wyatt to bring down QB Justin Fields while forcing a fumble that was recovered by CB Rasul Douglas...At Atlanta (Sept. 17): Recorded six tackles (five solo), a half-sack and two QB hits. Bull-rushed and hit QB Desmond Ridder as he threw to alter the ball that was intercepted by Douglas early in the first quarter. After LB Preston Smith hit QB Desmond Ridder, teamed with LB Rashan Gary to take Ridder down for a loss of 2 yards at the Green Bay 15 on third-and-11 late in the third quarter...Vs. New Orleans (Sept. 24): Posted four tackles (three solo), a tackle for a loss and a QB hit, and sacked QB Derek Carr on the first possession of the game for a loss of 9 yards on third down to force a punt...At Las Vegas (Oct. 9): Registered five tackles (two solo), a tackle for a loss and a QB hit, and sacked QB Jimmy Garoppolo for a loss of 9 yards on a third-and-7 in the first quarter to force a punt...Vs. Minnesota (Oct. 29): Finished with three tackles (one solo), a sack, two QB hits and a tackle for a loss. Early in the fourth quarter, fought off a block to sack QB Kirk Cousins for a loss of 4 yards on third-and-19, forcing a field goal that was blocked by DL Karl Brooks...Vs. L.A. Chargers (Nov. 19): Recorded a solo tackle, a forced fumble and a pass defensed. Early in the fourth quarter, with the Chargers at the Green Bay 2, forced a fumble on RB Austin Ekeler that was recovered by Gary at the Green Bay 6. Extended to bat a QB Justin Herbert pass down on fourth-and-1 with 23 seconds left in the game to seal the win. It was the first time in his career he posted a pass defensed and forced fumble in the same game...Vs. Kansas City (Dec. 3): Finished with five tackles (two solo), a tackle for a loss, two QB hits and with the Chiefs on the Green Bay 9, bull-rushed his way to team with Gary to sack QB Patrick Mahomes for a loss of 7 yards on third-and-9 late in the first quarter. Late in the third quarter with Kansas City on the Green Bay 1, beat C Creed Humphrey to take down RB Isiah Pacheco for a loss of a yard...Vs. Tampa Bay (Dec. 17): Recorded four tackles (three solo), two sacks, two QB hits, two tackles for a loss and a pass defensed. It marked the sixth two-sack game of his career and the third time in four regular-season games against the Buccaneers that he had at least 1½ sacks. On a third-and-6 in the first quarter with the Bucs at the Green Bay 21, took down QB Baker Mayfield after initial pressure by Gary...At Minnesota (Dec. 31): Led the team with six NexGenStat QB pressures and posted a tackle (solo) and a pass defensed. Of his six QB pressures, one resulted in a CB Corey Ballentine interception, two ended in sacks for teammates and two were incompletions...Vs. Chicago (Jan. 7): Recorded two tackles (one solo), a QB hit, a tackle for a loss, a team-best four NextGenStat QB pressures, and late in the second quarter with Chicago on the Green Bay 13, sacked Fields for a loss of 8 yards on third-and-6 to force a field goal...At San Francisco (NFC Divisional, Jan. 20): Tied for No. 3 on the team with five tackles (two solo) and a QB hit, and posted a half-sack when he teamed with Smith to bring down QB Brock Purdy for a loss of 7 yards on a third-and-6 in the first quarter, forcing a punt. Also tied for the team lead with four NextGenStat QB pressures that resulted in a sack, a completion for 4 yards, an incompletion and a scramble for a yard.
2022: Started all 17 contests and finished No. 3 on the team with four sacks while also recording 53 tackles (27 solo), 10 QB hits (No. 4 on the team) and five tackles for a loss (tied for No. 5 on the team)...At Minnesota (Sept. 11): Posted four tackles (three solo), a tackle for a loss and two QB hits. Teamed with Gary to take down RB Dalvin Cook for a loss of a yard late in the third quarter. Helped force incompletions on both of his QB hits…At Tampa Bay (Sept. 25): Tallied four tackles (three solo) and led the team in sacks (two), tackles for a loss (two) and QB hits (two). On the first drive of the game, sacked QB Tom Brady for a loss of 6 yards on third down to force a field goal...Vs. New England (Oct. 2): Recorded six tackles (two solo), including teaming with DL Jarran Reed to stop RB Rhamondre Stevenson a yard short on third-and-3 with just under a minute to play in the fourth quarter...At Detroit (Nov. 6): Finished No. 2 on the team with a season-best seven tackles (four solo)...Vs. Dallas (Nov. 13): Posted four tackles (two solo), a QB hit and a tackle for a loss, and sacked QB Dak Prescott for a loss of a yard on first down early in the third quarter...At Chicago (Dec. 4): Posted three tackles (two solo), all of which were for no gain...Vs. Minnesota (Jan. 1): Finished with four tackles (one solo) and a QB hit, and midway through the third quarter, forced and recovered a fumble on a sack of Cousins to give the Packers the ball at their own 24-yard line.
2021: Started all 16 contests he appeared in during the regular season and led the Green Bay defensive line with 48 tackles (28 solo)...Also recorded four sacks (No. 4 on the team), six tackles for a loss (tied for No. 3), 13 QB hits (No. 3) and a fumble recovery...According to Stats Pass, tied with Gary for the team lead with 43½ QB hurries (No. 6 among NFL players listed as a DT)...Was placed on reserve/COVID-19 on Dec. 16 and was activated on Dec. 24...At San Francisco (Sept. 26): Recorded two tackles (one solo), a sack and a QB hit. With just over five minutes left in the game and the 49ers with the ball at the Packers' 44, sacked Garoppolo for a loss of 10 yards. Garoppolo attempted to throw the ball but threw it backwards and it was recovered by LB De'Vondre Campbell and returned to the 49ers' 38. K Mason Crosby hit a 38-yard field goal on the ensuing drive to give the Packers a six-point lead with under three minutes to play...Vs. Pittsburgh (Oct. 3): Finished with four tackles (one solo), a tackle for a loss and a QB hit, and recovered a fumble forced by DL Kingsley Keke on QB Ben Roethlisberger that gave Green Bay the ball at the Steelers' 23. The ensuing drive resulted in a TD to give the Packers a 14-7 lead in the second quarter...At Chicago (Oct. 17): Posted three tackles (all solo), two sacks, two tackles for a loss and two QB hits. The two sacks on Fields totaled a loss of 23 yards and came in the span of three plays in the fourth quarter as he became the first Packers defensive lineman with two fourth-quarter sacks since Aaron Kampman vs. Washington on Oct. 14, 2007...Vs. L.A. Rams (Nov. 28): Finished No. 2 on the team with six tackles (three solo) while also recording a sack, a tackle for a loss and two QB hits. With just over seven minutes left in the game, sacked QB Matthew Stafford on third-and-10 for a loss of 8 yards...Vs. San Francisco (NFC Divisional, Jan. 22): Registered six tackles (four solo), two QB hits and a tackle for a loss and sacked Garoppolo on a third down in the third quarter for a loss of 6 yards to force a punt.
2020: Started all 13 games he played in, leading the DL with 41 tackles (28 solo), two sacks, three tackles for a loss and six QB hits...Posted four-plus tackles in seven games...Suffered a groin injury in the season opener and missed Weeks 2-4...In two postseason contests, recorded 11 tackles (six solo), a team-best 2½ sacks, a team-high two tackles for a loss and three QB hits (tied for the team lead)...Dating back to 1982, it marked just the ninth time a Packer had registered a sack in multiple games in the same postseason...His 2½ sacks tied for the eighth most by a GB player in the postseason since 1982 and were the most since Perry recorded 3½ in the 2015 postseason...According to Sportradar, the 2½ sacks were the fourth most by a Packer listed as a DL, DE, DT or NT (since 1982)...At Indianapolis (Nov. 22): Posted a season-best six tackles (five solo), two QB hits and a tackle for a loss, and sacked QB Philip Rivers for a loss of 8 yards to force a third-and-19 that the Colts did not convert in the third quarter...Vs. Tennessee (Dec. 27): Tallied three tackles (all solo), a tackle for a loss and a QB hit. All three tackles were on RB Derrick Henry (-2, 3 and 5 yards)...Vs. L.A. Rams (NFC Divisional, Jan. 16): Registered three tackles (one solo), two QB hits, a tackle for a loss and a playoff career-high 1½ sacks. Early in the third quarter, combined with Gary to take down QB Jared Goff on third-and-7 for a loss of 9 yards, forcing a punt. Then in the fourth quarter, with GB up by seven, sacked Goff for a loss of 6 yards to make it third-and-16, which the Rams did not convert. LA punted on fourth down and GB scored on the next drive to go up 14 points with seven minutes to play. According to Stathead.com, was the first player listed as DL, DT or DE to record more than one sack in a playoff game for the Packers since DT Cullen Jenkins recorded 1½ on Jan. 12, 2008, vs. Seattle...Vs. Tampa Bay (NFC Championship, Jan. 24): Led the team with eight tackles (six solo) while also posting a sack, a tackle for a loss and a QB hit. Sacked Brady for a loss of 5 yards on third-and-10 in the first quarter to force a punt. All eight tackles took place within three yards of the line of scrimmage. His eight tackles tied L.A. Rams DE Michael Brockers (eight vs. GB) for the most by a player listed as a DL, DE or DT on Sportradar in the 2020 postseason.

On a third-and-1 play early in the second quarter, blew past C James Daniels to stuff WR Cordarrelle Patterson in the backfield for a 2-yard loss to force a three-and-out. Early in the third quarter, shed Daniels to get to QB Mitchell Trubisky for a shared zero-yard sack with P. Smith to force a three-and-out...Vs. Minnesota (Sept. 15): Finished with seven tackles (four solo), a sack, a forced fumble, five QB hits and two QB pressures. Late in the first quarter, shed a block by C Garrett Bradbury to get to Cousins for the sack, forcing a fumble on the play that was recovered by DL Dean Lowry at the Minnesota 33. The sack gave him at least one in each of his last four games against the Vikings as he brought his total to five sacks in the last four games vs. Minnesota…Vs. Washington (Dec. 8): Posted six tackles (two solo), 1½ sacks, a QB pressure and a QB hit. On Washington's opening drive, got past C Chase Roullier to bring down QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. for a shared 11-yard sack with LB Kyler Fackrell to force a three-and-out. Midway through the third quarter, shed blocks from Roullier and G Brandon Scherff to sack Haskins for a 9-yard loss on third down…Vs. Chicago (Dec. 15): Matched his career high (twice before) with a team-high two sacks. Finished with six tackles (all solo), three tackles for a loss, two QB hits and two QB pressures. On Chicago's second series, blew by RG Rashaad Coward to get to Trubisky for a 7-yard sack…Vs. Seattle (NFC Divisional, Jan. 12): Recorded three tackles (two solo), a sack, three QB pressures and two QB hits. On Seattle's second drive of the game, brought down RB Marshawn Lynch for no gain on a run up the middle on third-and-1 to force a three-and-out. With under a minute remaining in the first half, shed a block from LG Phil Haynes to get pressure on QB Russell Wilson, initially missing on the sack before getting off the ground to chase down Wilson for a 2-yard loss, the first sack of his career in the postseason.
2018: Started all 13 games he appeared in and ranked No. 3 on the team with 73 tackles (46 solo)...Was named a Pro Bowl alternate...Finished No. 2 on the team with a career-high six sacks and added 13 tackles for a loss (tied for the team lead), seven QB hits (No. 3 on the team), 13 QB pressures (No. 5), a team-high two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and two passes defensed...Was tied for No. 5 in the league with the two defensive fumble recoveries...Missed three games due to an elbow injury...Was placed on injured reserve (elbow) on Dec. 25…Vs. Chicago (Sept. 9): Finished with three tackles (two solo), a tackle for a loss, a fumble recovery, a QB pressure and a QB hit. On fourth-and-10 with just over a minute remaining and the Packers leading, 24-23, recovered a Trubisky fumble at the Chicago 39 that was forced by Perry on a sack to seal the Green Bay win...At Washington (Sept. 23): Matched his career high with a team-leading 10 tackles (seven solo)...Vs. Buffalo (Sept. 30): Posted three tackles (two solo), a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a season-high three QB pressures and a QB hit. Late in the fourth quarter, punched the ball out on QB Josh Allen's third-down scramble and recovered the fumble at the Green Bay 27. Helped the defense allow just 58 rushing yards on 16 carries (3.6 avg.)…Vs. San Francisco (Oct. 15): Finished second on the team with eight tackles (five solo), a sack and a QB hit. Shed a block from G Mike Person to come up the middle for a 6-yard sack of QB C.J. Beathard late in the first half…At L.A. Rams (Oct. 28): Matched his career high with two sacks. Finished with eight tackles (five solo), four tackles for a loss, three QB pressures (tied season high) and a QB hit. On third-and-4 on the Rams' first drive, fought off a block from C John Sullivan to bring down Goff for a 1-yard sack. Beat Sullivan again on a third-and-9 early in the second quarter, coming up the middle to sack Goff for an 11-yard loss…At Minnesota (Nov. 25): Paced the defensive line with six tackles (three solo), a sack, a QB pressure and two QB hits. Late in the third quarter, fought off a block from C Pat Elflein to wrap up Cousins for a 9-yard sack on third down as the Vikings were forced to settle for a FG.
2017: Started all 15 games he appeared in and posted 78 tackles (39 solo), eight tackles for a loss, 4½ sacks, two forced fumbles, 11 QB hits, 10 QB pressures and a pass defensed...Led the Green Bay defensive line in tackles and ranked No. 2 in sacks...Registered all 4½ of his sacks in the month of December, second most among NFL defensive tackles behind only Donald (five) and the most ever (since 1982) by a Green Bay DT in the month of December (according to Stats Pass)...At Minnesota (Oct. 15): Registered a career-high 10 tackles (five solo), a tackle for a loss, a forced fumble, a QB pressure and a QB hit. Early in the second quarter, fought off a double-team from Elflein and G Jeremiah Sirles as he went low to punch the ball out from RB Jerick McKinnon, the first forced fumble of his career. The fumble was scooped up by LB Clay Matthews at the Green Bay 19 and returned down the sideline 63 yards to the Minnesota 18, helping to set up a TD pass from QB Brett Hundley to WR Davante Adams three plays later...Vs. New Orleans (Oct. 22): Posted eight tackles (two solo), two QB pressures and two QB hits. Blocked a K Wil Lutz extra point early in the third quarter, the first blocked extra point by the Packers since Sept. 22, 2013, at Cincinnati (Jones)...Vs. Tampa Bay (Dec. 3): Registered seven tackles (three solo), 1½ sacks, a forced fumble, two QB pressures and one QB hit. Posted his first career sack late in the second quarter, forcing a fumble by QB Jameis Winston that was caught by Lowry at the Green Bay 38 and returned 62 yards for a TD. Late in the fourth quarter, chased down Winston and wrapped him up low for a shared 3-yard sack with Matthews…Vs. Minnesota (Dec. 23): Posted a career-high two sacks along with six tackles (three solo) and two QB hits. In the first quarter, came around on a stunt and beat G Nick Easton to get to QB Case Keenum for a 9-yard sack on third down, which forced a Minnesota punt. Early in the fourth quarter, was credited with a 2-yard sack as he chased Keenum out of bounds.
2016: Played in all 16 games with two starts and registered 33 tackles (14 solo), two tackles for a loss, four QB pressures, three QB hits, two fumble recoveries and two passes defensed...Also appeared in all three postseason contests and recorded nine tackles (five solo), including a tackle for a loss, a team-high five QB pressures and a QB hit…At Jacksonville (Sept. 11): Posted an assisted tackle in his NFL debut, becoming the youngest player to appear in a season opener for the Packers since Arnie Herber (20 years old) in 1930…Vs. N.Y. Giants (Oct. 9): Recorded the first fumble recovery of his career, scooping up a QB Eli Manning fumble at the New York 33 late in the first half and returning it 2 yards to the 31 after Fackrell knocked the ball out on a sack. The turnover helped set up Crosby's 44-yard FG as time expired in the first half. Added two tackles (one solo), including a tackle for a loss…Vs. Minnesota (Dec. 24): Made a key takeaway in the second quarter. With just under 10 minutes remaining, dove on a fumbled snap by Easton to give the Packers the ball at the Minnesota 42, field position that led to a 2-yard Jordy Nelson TD catch three plays later. Late in the third quarter, beat Easton to put a hit on QB Sam Bradford and force an incomplete pass…At Dallas (NFC Divisional, Jan. 15): Posted four tackles (three solo), including a tackle for a loss. Late in the third quarter, read a screen pass to RB Ezekiel Elliott, bringing him down behind the line of scrimmage for a 2-yard loss. Added two QB pressures and a QB hit…2016 Draft: Selected by the Packers in the first round with the No. 27 overall choice, the second defensive tackle selected behind Louisville's Sheldon Rankins (New Orleans, No. 12 overall).
COLLEGE: Played in all 39 games in his three seasons at UCLA with 29 starts, opening the final 29 games of his career for the Bruins…Finished with 164 tackles (96 solo), seven sacks and 20½ tackles for a loss…Majored in African American studies…2015: Started all 13 games and earned third-team All-America recognition from The Associated Press…Was named first-team All-Pac-12 by both the coaches and the media…Was a team co-captain and appeared on the watch lists for the Bednarik Award, Lombardi Award, Nagurski Trophy and Outland Trophy…Registered career highs in tackles (75), sacks (six) and tackles for a loss (11), ranking second on the team in all three of those categories…Posted a career-high five pass breakups, good for third on the team…Was presented the Henry R.
