The Green Bay Packers signed Michael Barrett to the practice squad on Nov. 30, 2024.

Barrett (5-11, 232), a rookie out of the University of Michigan, was originally selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round (No. 240 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 22 and spent time on the practice squads of the Seahawks and Cleveland Browns this season. Barrett played in 62 games with 35 starts for the Wolverines (2018-23), earning third-team All-Big 10 honors from the coaches in each of his last two seasons (2022-23).
