Biography

  • Posted the second-most receiving yards (355) and the third-most receptions (31) by a rookie tight end in team history last season.
  • Ranked No. 3 in the NFL in receiving yards and No. 4 in receptions among rookie TEs in 2023, and among TEs with 20-plus catches, ranked No. 1 among rookies and No. 8 in the league in yards per catch (11.5 avg.).
  • In Weeks 14-17 last season, became the first Green Bay tight end since the 1970 merger to register four-plus receptions and 45-plus receiving yards in four straight games in a single season.
  • Selected by the Packers in the third round (No. 78 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, becoming the fourth-highest pick in South Dakota State history. Was the first Jackrabbit drafted by the Packers since G Adam Timmerman (seventh round, No. 230 overall) in 1995.
  • Earned numerous All-America honors (third-team recognition in 2022; first- and second-team honors in 2021) and was a first-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection in each of his last two seasons at South Dakota State.
