Biography

  • Appeared in 51 games with 26 starts during his five seasons in the Southeastern Conference (Florida, 2019-21; Missouri, 2022-23), posting 214 tackles (135 solo), 31½ tackles for a loss, 9½ sacks, 13 QB hurries, an interception, 10 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
  • Earned second-team All-Southeastern Conference honors from the coaches in 2023, posting a team-high 55 tackles (36 solo), six tackles for a loss and three sacks through 10 games before an injury sidelined him for the final two contests of the regular season.
  • Was named one of five finalists for the Butkus Award in 2023, which honors the nation's most outstanding linebacker, as he became just the third Missouri player to be selected as a finalist (Sean Weatherspoon, 2008-09; Nick Bolton, 2020).
  • Led the team with 14 tackles for a loss and ranked No. 2 on the Tigers with a career-high 77 tackles (59 solo) in his first season at Missouri in 2022.
  • Selected by the Packers with the second of two picks in the third round (No. 91 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, just the second linebacker out of Missouri to be drafted by Green Bay (Bill Powell, seventh round in 1967).
  • As a senior at Roswell (Ga.) High School, posted 74 tackles, five interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery and was selected to play in the 2019 All-American Bowl.
