GREEN BAY – Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been nominated for the NFL's FedEx Air Player of the Week award for Week 16.
In a come-from-behind, 44-38 overtime victory over the New York Jets, Rodgers posted season highs in both completions (37) and attempts (55) while tying his season-high for passing yards (442), to go with two touchdowns and a 103.8 passer rating.
This marks the third time this season Rodgers has been nominated for the league's weekly award.
The other nominees for Week 16 are Philadelphia's Nick Foles, who was 35-of-49 for 471 yards, four TDs and a 120.4 passer rating in the Eagles' 32-30 win over Houston to stay in the playoff hunt, and Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger, who was 33-of-50 for 380 yards, three TDs and a 108.8 rating in the Steelers' 31-28 loss at New Orleans.
