GREEN BAY – Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper has been nominated for NFL Rookie of Week 15.

In his first game back after a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury, Cooper recorded five tackles (two for loss) with two passes defensed, a sack and an interception in Sunday's 30-13 win over Seattle.

Fans are encouraged to vote for Cooper here.

With his performance against the Seahawks, Cooper became the first Green Bay rookie to have a sack and interception in the same game since Esera Tuaolo in a 27-0 win over Tampa Bay on Oct. 27, 1991.

In 11 games, Cooper has registered 52 tackles, 3½ sacks, four passes defensed, one interception, and a forced fumble and recovery. Earlier this season, he was named NFC Defensive Player of Week 8 for his eight tackles, strip-sack and pass defensed in a win over Jacksonville.

Cooper is the only defensive rookie to be nominated in Week 15. The others are Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels, New England quarterback Drake Maye, Carolina receiver Jalen Coker, New York Giants receiver Malik Nabers and Jacksonville receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Fans can vote for one of these six players on www.nfl.com/rookies, @NFL on X, and on the NFL Mobile app through Thursday at 10 a.m. The winner will be announced Thursday on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
