GREEN BAY – Packers linebacker Za'Darius Smith is holding fairly steady in the "Top 100."
Green Bay's leading sack man is ranked No. 51 in the NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2021," three spots lower than last year when he made his debut on the list at No. 48.
Smith came to the Packers as a free agent in 2019 and has recorded 26 sacks over the last two years (29 including playoffs), the most by a Packers player in his first two seasons with the team. He's been named to the Pro Bowl both years and also received second-team All-Pro honors last season.
With 13½ sacks in 2019 and 12½ last year, Smith is one of only three NFL players with at least 12 sacks in each of the last two seasons, joining Aaron Donald and T.J. Watt.
The list is compiled by player votes and has become an annual ranking on NFL Network. Players ranked 1-40 have yet to be revealed.
