GREEN BAY – The Packers' standout left tackle made a major move up the charts on the NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2021."
David Bakhtiari, who earned his fifth All-Pro honor last season, came in at No. 36 on the latest list, up from No. 62 in 2020.
Bakhtiari was named first-team All-Pro for the second time in his career last year. He was also a first-teamer in 2018, and he earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2016, '17 and '19. He's the only offensive tackle in the league to get All-Pro recognition each of the last five years.
When Bakhtiari's 2021 season will start remains uncertain as he's rehabbing from a torn ACL sustained last Dec. 31. The injury forced him to miss the Packers' playoff run in January, and he began training camp this summer on the physically unable to perform list (PUP).
The "Top 100" list is a peer ranking, voted on annually by players around the league.
