GREEN BAY – For the fourth time this season, Packers RB Aaron Jones has been nominated for the NFL's FedEx Ground Player of the Week Award.
Fans can vote for Jones by going to NFL.com/FedEx or by visiting the NFL's Twitter page. Voting is open through 2 p.m. CT Thursday.
In Green Bay's 20-15 victory over Washington, Jones rushed 16 times for a career-high 134 yards and a touchdown, his 12th rushing TD of the season and 15th overall. He averaged 8.4 yards per carry and had a long run of 42 yards. It was his third 100-yard rushing game this season and the sixth in his three-year career.
The other nominees this week are Tennessee RB Derrick Henry, who had 18 carries for 103 yards and two TDs in a 42-21 win over Oakland, and Cleveland RB Nick Chubb, who had 15 carries for 106 yards in a 27-19 win over Cincinnati. It was Chubb's sixth 100-yard rushing performance of the season.
Coincidentally, all three nominees this week are tied for the most weekly nominations for the award this year with four.
