Packers.com has consulted more than two dozen mock drafts from reputable national outlets and compiled a list of players most frequently mocked as draft selections in the latter portion of the first round (picks 20-32) who could be available when the Packers are on the clock at No. 25 overall.
Between now and draft day, those players will be profiled with thumbnail sketches and videos known as "Prospect Primers."
Today's player is …
Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
Height/Weight: 6-8, 322
Key stats: Played in 20 games with 14 starts over the last two seasons at Oklahoma after transferring from TCU.
College honors: Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 recognition last season.
Background/other info: The word on Guyton is upside, with a massive frame and impressive physical tools but limited experience heading into the pros. Texas native spent two seasons at TCU, redshirting in 2020 and seeing limited action in '21, before transferring to Oklahoma and becoming a part-time starter at right tackle before getting the job full-time last season. Did make his first collegiate start at left tackle. Played primarily defensive line in high school, adding to the perception of an unknown ceiling on the O-line, where he projects as a potentially elite pass protector. Has plenty of development in front of him, but clocking a 5.19-second 40 and posting a 34½-inch vertical jump at the combine at 322 pounds shows plenty of athleticism to work with. Could wind up playing either tackle position at the next level.
