GREEN BAY – Left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee/abdomen) has been listed as doubtful for Sunday's Christmas Day matchup with the Miami Dolphins.
The first-time All-Pro has missed the past two games after undergoing an emergency appendectomy earlier this month.
"I was definitely one of the fortunate people. It didn't rupture," said Bakhtiari on Thursday. "It was leaking but didn't rupture. I was extremely minimal symptoms. I felt like I had a bruise or a contusion in my stomach. I didn't have any fever or chills. It's weird and ironic.
"My brother, his ruptured two months ago. It's not hereditary. There's like a 15 percent – from what I know, from what I read, I educated myself on it – it's like 15 percent of the population gets it. That's why I'm like, 'This is so random.' But I guess it's on par for what I have to go through or what's going on with my life."
The Packers didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: quarterback Aaron Rodgers (right thumb/tib), running back Aaron Jones (knee), linebacker Krys Barnes (hand), safety Rudy Ford (wrist/knee), guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins (knee), cornerback Keisean Nixon (groin) and tight end Marcedes Lewis (veteran rest).
Miami has listed tackle Eric Fisher (calf) and receiver River Cracraft (calf) as doubtful, and six others as questionable: tackle Terron Armstead (toe, pec, knee), outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (knee), running back Myles Gaskin (illness), outside linebacker Jaelen Phillips (toe), safety Eric Rowe (hamstring), and running back Jeff Wilson (hip).
Armstead returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday after missing practice on Wednesday and Tuesday.
The Dolphins didn't issue a game status for the following players who are expected to be available: defensive back Keion Crossen (knee), middle linebacker Duke Riley (ribs), tight end Durham Smythe (quad), quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee), safety Jevon Holland (neck), and cornerback Kader Kohou (thumb).
